Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease involving retroperitoneal lymph nodes: An uncommon presentation

چکیده

Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a self-limited of unknown etiology that clinically defined by fevers accompanied tender posterior cervical lymphadenopathy. It often presents acutely or sub-acutely, and due to its non-specific features, the differential diagnosis broad includes infectious, autoimmune, malignant causes. Although cases extra-cervical are not uncommon, involvement retroperitoneal lymph nodes has only rarely been reported. Here, we describe patient with who presented fever origin, abdominal pain, enlarged hypermetabolic nodes.
